We transplanted our green chile crop a couple of weeks behind schedule, as we were still creating rows and laying down irrigation pipes. Although we were a bit behind, it seems these pepper plants have caught up to what I am seeing around the Rio Grande valley. We will be picking some peppers this weekend, as it looks like the first couple of rows we planted have good size pods and I would consider these to be on the “hot” side, by the samples I have tasted so far.
